The Challenge of Europe.

The need to plant the church in Europe has never been greater. Europe today is dominated by a secular worldview, where society is fragmented and people are left free-floating– trying to find their own way with neither God nor gods at the center. In Matthew 18, Jesus tells the story of the Good Shepherd who was willing to leave the 99 to reach the one. The context of Europe today is just the opposite and we cannot ignore the 99% who are some of the least reached people on the planet. From Finland to Greece and Portugal to Poland, all the peoples of Europe – majority groups, marginalized, immigrants, refugees and future generations – need to hear the Gospel in a relevant way through strong and healthy churches.
